Monthly Challenge!
On the first day of each month we will announce a new Monthly Challenge. The challenges are designed to inspire you to stretch your creative wings. Have fun with it! You will have the entire month to create a project for the challenge. The project must meet the challenge requirements in order for your name to be entered into the prize drawing.
APRIL MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle!
In honor of Earth Day (April 22nd) we would like you to recycle, reuse or repurpose 3 items on your project. For example, cut a shape from junk mail found in your trash can. Reuse something found in a junk drawer, or whatever! Use your creativity! Create a layout, card, altered project, etc. The choice is yours! This month entrants will be playing for their chance to win a Cricut Mini Cake Machine, Martha Stewart All Occasions Cake Art Cartridge, AND $50 worth of credit to Cricut.com.The Challenge: Create a project of your choice and reuse, recycle or repurpose 3 items on your creation. Project must include atleast 2 different Cricut Image Cuts.
Rules and Guidelines: Circle Blog Challenges are open to Cricut Circle Members only. You can create any type of project you would like (tag, altered project, mini album, etc.) but your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts. You must submit a project to be entered into the Challenge Prize Drawing.
How to Enter: Submit your entry using the InLinkz tool found at the bottom of this post. Please post your full name along with your entry. Entries are due by 9:00 pm MST on Saturday, April 30th, 2011.
Prize: This month the winner will win a Cricut Mini Cake Machine, Martha Stewart Crafts Birthday Cake Art Cartridge, and $50 credit to their Cricut.com account. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery from winner announcement.
Winner: The winner will be selected randomly from qualifying entries using www.random.org and will be announced on the Cricut Circle Blog on Monday, May 2nd, 2011.
I used some old buttons taken off a shirt, some beads from a broken necklace and some other trinkets inside.
I even made a flower like I used for my calling cards at one time using some tiny scraps from the trash. |
This is just some trash from Wal Mart. It was in the bottom of a box, but works great for my calling cards!
