I'm All Ears

One of May's Kit Club files at ppbndesigns.com. This was such an easy file to put together but came out so cute. Next one I an going to make the background a red polka dot to make it more girly but since my craft room is packed I will leave this one alone. Won't be on here much over the next few months but hop everyone keeps crafting.

Ticket to Ride

Always have fair or park photos to do during the summer. This is an easy and fun layout that only took about 1/2 hour to do. Would love to see your takes on this one. File can be found at ppbndesigns.com.

Summer BBQ

I added the ants from an older file Picnic Time and the rest is Summer BBQ from this months club files. I think that 15 layout SVGs a month  for $10.00 is a fantastic price but you also get 30 more pieces a month plus any Exclusives, amazing deal!

Peas in a Pod

Peas in a Pod

My son and Grandson look so much alike that we sometimes have to look at the back of a picture to decide which is which. Nathan now wears glasses to that helps. I used some paper I had around wanted it to look older not a baby layout.

File used:
Peas in a Pod 2 page layout kit.

You're the Cheese to my Macaroni

Cute layout for the people you Love in your life. The shapes are so cute with the faces but you could delete them it you would like. I think the cheese would look cute with a mouse beside it. this file is from Nikki's 2-page Scrapbook svg file club but will be available next month for all. Check out the store at ppbndesigns.com

Beauty and the Beast

This layout is so sweet, the black is a bugger to cut but the effect is totally worth it. I changed up the colors from the file and placed my mats differently but all the rest is totally Nikkis' file Beauty and the Beast from her 2-page scrapbook svg club. The files will be open to everyone next month. Hope you enjoy this layout as much as I did making it.

You Stole my Heart

Well I really messed up on the layering on this one, but I like it anyhow. I used a pink red and white theme just because I think it looks brighter. The file is You Stole my Heart from the 2-page svg kit club. Hope you enjoy.

Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?

Such a cute file Do You Wanna Build a Snowman? It is one of the 2 page layout file for this month with the SVG Scrapbook Membeship. I used different colors and really like how it came out. These files can be cut on all the machines that cut svgs. I love how easy they are to put together and still have a great page.

Hey Diddle Layout

Love how this layout came out. I used both the Cricut Explore and the Silhouette Cameo on this, yes they do play well together. Both machines have their place and I have found both machines have good features and things that can be improved upon.  The Once upon a time title was cut with the Explore, the cutting was fantastic the only problem I found was I can't change the colors of the layers so I used my copics to change some of the colors in it. The cow is from Too Cute By Jessica because Nikki doesn't have a cow for the set yet and I was impatient. I made the photo frames by combining two rectangle shapes. The rest of the Hey Diddle Diddle pieces are from PPbNDesigns links to follow Hey Diddle Moon (cut on Cameo)Hey diddle dish and spoon (Explore)Hey diddle fiddle (Explore) and a Peachy Keen stamped face, Hey diddle cat (Explore) and all the other shapes were cut with the Cameo with shapes from the Silhouette store. I wrote the poem in the white space because I just couldn't leave it white. The little disks are perler beads melted and stuck on with Glossy accents.

Place Perler bead on baking sheet with either a silicon mat or parchment paper standing up. Oven preheated to 400 degrees. Bake for 12 minutes turn off oven and allow beads to cool in oven.
This is the pack I used
I found that the different types and colors melt differently. The pearlized ones in this pack took two times in the oven to close up and still looked funny. The stripped ones are so cute with the two colors. Try this just for fun if you have some Perler beads around. They do stink while cooking so beware.

Off to 9th Grade by PPbN

Hello, it is Janice from Craft Place here with a new layout from PPbN Designs. School started last week so I did this layout for my daughter. This is my youngest child's first day in high school. The file I used is Off to 9th Grade and the calculator is from Off to 7th Grade.
Finished layout
This is the printed page I set up in DE of my Silhouette software. I choose digital paper for each piece and set my page up to print. I had no cut lines so I could print the whole page and not worry about having the registration marks. I printed on my Epson wf-7520. To add some dimension to the page I used Glossy accents on the backpack front, stars and added dots on the letters. To finish my page I added the photos and the pieced pencil and calculator (which I added some Glossy accents to as well). Hope you enjoy and have a fantastic week.

I'm Nuts For You!

Happy Monday everyone.  I scrapbooked some pictures of my favorite 3 year old. The file is I'm Nuts For You! and I'm Nuts For You Squirrel. I made the titles under pictures by welding my text to a small rectangle right in the DE software. The little signature was scanned from a picture she gave me. I wanted to document her signature for later on. Simple layout but I like how it turned out.

Let It Go PPbN Designs

Let It Go scrapbook layout.
Link here. I changed up the colors some and made the title smaller so I could add an extra mat. I put stickles on the crown and the septar. I used the cut out shapes from the castle for flakes on the page and I tore a snow border for the bottom.

Kadoodle bi weekly challenge

The challenge at KadoodleBugs Challenge FB page was to use a KadoodleBug file, make an Easter layout and use the colors pink, yellow and another color. I used several files including Born to shop for the girl, Happy Easter, and Jumpin Jelly Beans.
