Magazine Challenge May

MAKE IT YOUR WAY CONTEST!

Use this month’s magazine as a stepping off point for you to create something your way. Use one of our Designers projects to help you create something similar and yet has your own style. You might see a flower, paper, design element or maybe just the concept to help you design something of your own. CONTEST RULES: Use at least 3 Cricut Cuts and an idea from the magazine in your project. Contest will open on May20th. Please upload a picture of your project  to the blog under the Magazine Challenge tab. Please, one entry per person. Entry deadline is Friday, June 10th, 2011. Please make sure you have a working link to view your project and if possible list what you used for inspiration. Don’t forget… the winner of each contest will receive an E2 Machine!! Good Luck!!
I used the cylinder shape box for my inspiration for this challenge from the Welcome to the Neighborhood projects. Carts used were A Child;s Year, Stand and Salute, Heritage, Soccer, Independence Day, Accent Essentials, Hannah Montana, and George.

Just a wine container from Christmas.

Added some paper

Then punched a hole in the top to push wire into.  I cut a circle of paper to give it a finished look later.  Inside I pushed a tight cardboard circle up to the top to cover the wires and give some support to them

Card is cut at 3" and the 4th is cut at 2 1/2"  Added a strip of paper I had left, some ribbon, and stars.

Weekly Challenge #32

Using the sketch below I created this fast layout for my God Daughter's Prom pictures.  She has room to journal about the night in the circle and at the top.  The splash of green is because her dress was lime green.

Challenge #2 My Pink Stamper.

We need to use craft paper on this challenge so I made a card for a friend.  On the inside it says of you.  I used craft paper as the base and for the sentiment layer.

Challenge # 12 My Pink Stamper

My last challenge for tonight.  Remember to go to My Pink Stampers sight.  Button is on the right.

Challenge #5 My Pink Stamper

I used DS to make the card base and the rest are stickers.  I could of made the candles but I was trying to get all the challenges done so I opted for stickers.

Blog Give Away, my scraproom with me crafting.

Challenge #11

I just did a LO with pink green and black, but this is a quick one using pink, green and a black base.  I thought that some of the pictures wouldn't show up if I put them on black so I used it on the back.

Challenge 10 My Pink Stamper

Make a LO or card with a pet on it.  I used Best Friends Imagine cart and the four legged friends cart. to make this card.

Challenge #4

Challenge 4 of My Pink Stamper's challenges was to make something Mother's Day.  Her is my card.  The flower is from a Stamp in up punch and the butterfly is a cricut cut with some glitter.

Challenge #9 My pink Stamper

It was my God Daughter's Prom tonight and I took these pictures earlier.  What better time to use glitz and glitter.  I used glitter paper and some I- rock gems to sparkle this page.

#8 My Pink Stamper Challenge

I have been working on this one all day to put up on my Etsy site, but it fits in here so I will show what I have finished.  Still need to finish up some more pages but here goes.  Don't forget to check out My Pink Stampers sight, she has a lot of new stamp sets.  The button is on the right.

Challenge #7 My Pink Stamper

This challenge was to make a LO.  So here it is.

Challenge #1 My Pink Stamper

I loved the apple the Melissa Hass made so this is my version, only I made it into a card.  Join us a My Pink Stamper to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day.  To get there just push button on the left.
